OFF-ROAD
If there's one thing driving should be above all others, it's fun. Driving off-road is very different from any other kind of driving. It can be a lot of fun and adventurous but especially to beginners it can also be very frustrating. Before venturing out with your new M-Class make sure that you know the basics about driving off-road.
People often criticise off-road vehicles when they get stuck but if the vehicle in front of your bogs down and you manage to get through, it does not necessarily mean that you have a better vehicle - it probably means that you are a better driver. Knowing the basics about off-road driving will help you to enjoy your M-Class to the fullest. It will also make you aware of the damage that can be done to your M-Class because of major driving mistakes.
Therefore, we encourage you to read the following guidelines-for your own advantage, the vehicle's sake and safety reasons. We would also like to remind you to respect the environment at all times. Off-road vehicle have the capability to inflict irreparable damage to sensitive ecosystems. Keep this in mind while reading these guidelines and when driving your M-Class!
